Rumours: Facebook plans to build Facephone

As many hybrid smartphones were released, none of them surprised us. And now, Facebook is working on an object called "Facebook phone or Facephone", it will unveil a phone made by the company next year. Facebook might buy Nokia for £10B to build FacePhone to achieve this Facephone. Not only that, the company has already hired more than half a dozen former Apple software and hardware engineers who worked on the iPhone, and one who worked on the iPad, high quality the new iPad 3 accessories, the employees and those briefed on the plans said.

But on the other hand, Facebook will encounter many difficulties "Building isn’t something you can just jump into. You change the smallest thing on a smartphone and you can completely change how all the antennas work. You don’t learn this unless you’ve been doing it for a while. Going into the phone business is incredibly complex."

Lumia is already pretty much a facebook phone. Facebook appears to be trying to emulate Google much like Google tried to emulate Apple. A Facebook phone would offer little that's new to phone users or to mobile operators interested in finding new ways to raise data usage revenues. Is anybody really turned on by having a Facebook phone? Facebook Phone – is Mark Zuckerberg smart to choose this way? Nomatter what, we hope this hybrid Facephone will be innovation in smart phone market next year, and bring us bulk cheap cell phone gadgets.
